Nice macro, Céline, but I have to ask if the dollar bill was sitting flat on a table, or was it slightly curved? If it was flat, did you apply a tilt/shift effect to the image in post? It just seems odd to me that the middle third is perfectly in focus but the thirds above and below are slightly out of focus. I know with my macro lens, it is really hard to get a totally in focus macro photograph unless all the points you want in focus are on the same plane or you use a really tiny f-stop, like f25, which causes it's own issues.

This image does indeed have plenty of impact and is immediately recognizable for what it is - after all, most Americans gaze into these eyes, however briefly, many times during their lives.
